Dear Families,

Welcome to a very different school year from the City PTSA Executive Board!

We have all been presented with a new set of challenges during the ongoing global pandemic. I don’t think any of us could have imagined life as it is now a year ago, especially related to our kids and their education. The 2020 – 2021 school year may be starting at a distance, but we are still part of a rich and diverse community – even if it is a virtual one for now.

The City High Middle School PTSA’s purpose is, in part, to promote the welfare of children at home and school, secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and to bridge relationships between teachers and parents. In a typical year, we also spend a lot of time fundraising to help meet these goals and provide teachers and students with tools to make learning fun and engaging. Our events and fundraisers will be different this year but our goals are the same. The City PTSA will soon begin our annual Membership Drive – in an all new format – and we urge you to join us.

We hope the first week of distance learning was a success for your students and want to commend our staff and teachers for their efforts at making this experience as best it can be. We are honored to advocate for our kids, support our educators and build a supportive environment among the families of City High Middle School, CFE, Blandford and Zoo Schools.
