Dear Families,

We have a lot of info to share this week; we’ll start small and conclude with an invitation from Mr. Huppert and an agenda for the November PTSA meeting.

The PTSA Membership Drive Swag deliveries are under way now! If you have not received yours yet, don’t worry! The tote bags and chairs have not been received yet due to delays in shipping. We may have held your entire swag order until we get those items. If you have any questions, or do not want these items delivered to your porch/door, please contact Gaelle at [email protected]. Thanks for your patience.

We released a google PTSA Interests form after the Membership Drive that has not gotten a great response, but we’ll give you one more week to let us know these three things:
1. What info do you want from the PTSA
2. What do you want the PTSA to get involved in
3. If you had to choose Membership Drive or Pie Sale, which would it be
Your feedback is very valuable because it lets the Executive Board know what to focus on. Here is the link and the last time it will be available is at our next PTSA meeting.

The PTSA would like to extend a heartfelt Congratulations to Mr. VanTil, who has taken the position of Fine Arts Coordinator for GRPS. We appreciate your 24 years of teaching throughout GRPS. Good luck to you.

Next week, City is having the first set of conferences (don’t forget to sign up here). The PTSA is NOT organizing meals for the teachers, as they may not even be in the building. That’s one of our favorite ways to show them some love but since we cannot do it this time, please appreciate them in some other way. They’re working hard, even if your kids see them less.

City recently sent out important communications that included Semester 1 – Virtual Learning Updates (via email) and Semester 2 – Planned Hybrid/In-Person and Virtual Learning (via email and US mail; click here to read a copy). If you did not receive this, please contact Mrs. Albin at the main office.

In conjunction with CHMS Administrators, we are utilizing our November PTSA meeting as a Listening Session. Here’s a note from Mr. Huppert:
     …families are invited to join school administration for a virtual parent meeting…At this meeting we will provide details of our school implementation plan in order to seek feedback and answer questions. The meeting will be recorded and emailed to parents as well as posted to our school webpageand social media.
