The City High Fall Musical

Audition Now for the 2020 Fall/Winter Musical

AUDITION SUBMISSIONS ARE EXTENDED. The NEW DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21!!!! See below for information!

Despite the weirdness of the school year so far, one thing hasn’t changed — City will still be producing a fall/winter musical. If you want to audition for a singing and/or speaking role, the time is NOW!

The production is The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, a play with music. In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids, who are probably the most inventively awful kids in history. Mayhem and fun ensue when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on! The production will be released virtually on Friday, Dec. 18.

Auditions will be virtual and are open to all City High/Middle students, including CFE. Find additional information and instructions on how to record your audition hereHere are casting requirements about what characters we are looking for:

Director Andrew Schneider, choir teacher Mrs. Degenhardt, and others are still working through the details on rehearsals, sets, recording the performance, etc. Most if not all of the work will be done virtually. To learn more, including how to get involved backstage or in the orchestra, please ask to join our Facebook page City High’s The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and watch for updates and instructions.
